Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport. Japanese kickboxing originated in the late 1950s, with competitions held since then.

Kickboxing is not the only combat sport strictly for "tough guys". It strengthens and tones your legs, arms, glutes, back, and core all at once. You're moving through the entire workout, causing you to burn more calories while strengthening your muscles. This equates to fat loss, not muscle loss. Other benefits from kickboxing training are: stress reduction, boosting confidence and energy levels, improve coordination, help to keep better posture.

K1 is a fighting format that combines the most skillful and effective elements of all martial arts even if the "K" in its name refers to just three of them - karate, kickboxing, and kung-fu. The "1" denotes the best, the absolute tip-top. K1 became one of the kickboxing disciplines and the most popular one too.

Muay thai

Muay Thai (also known as a Thaiboxing)  is a combat sport from the Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on foot is known as “the art of eight limbs” because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient. It is also known for its powerful kicking techniques.

Muay Thai became widespread internationally in the twentieth century, when practitioners defeated notable practitioners of other martial arts. A number of MMA training routines combine Muay Thai techniques (i.e. elbow strikes and knee strikes) with the grappling techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Muay Thai is a discipline for everyone, here are some physical and mental benefits from Muay Thai training: full-body workout (burn more calories -burn more fat), increases your stamina and improves your cardiovascular health, boosts your hip mobility, enhances your self-discipline and unleashes your inner warrior.
